Contained in this course of instruction is 21 hours continuing education content designed to help an insurance producer with renewing their license.
The course is broken up into four segments that each address a different aspect of property and casualty insurance.
The opening segment explores dwelling and homeowners insurance policies. This segment will discuss the available policy forms, the scope of coverage, and endorsements that can be used to augment coverage.
The next segment of the course examines automobile insurance. This segment will look at both automobile insurance policies for private individuals and automobile insurance for commercial enterprises.
A segment of this course deals with business related insurance policies.
- This segment begins with a thorough discussion of commercial insurance policies, specifically the types of insurance that are typically bundled into a commercial package policy.
- Then, this segment will cover businessowner’s insurance policies and the unique protection this kind of policy can provide.
- This segment wraps up by talking about workers’ compensation insurance. This portion will look at the history, purpose, and benefits of workers’ comp. This portion will also address the related responsibilities of employees and employers.
The course will conclude with an exploration of other forms of property and casualty insurance, such as errors and omissions insurance, flood insurance, and boatowners insurance.
Once a student has finished the course they will be asked to complete a 110 question exam. The purpose of this exam is to promote understanding, comprehension, and retention of the lessons in the course.

Prior to entering the insurance field, Aaron worked for 7 years in customer service and management before entering into the insurance field. He is a licensed insurance agent in Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in Communication and has been working locally since 2015. Aaron specializes in individual health insurance plan options and life insurance, provides employee benefits support for his company’s group clients, and expertly handles insurance needs for personal line clients. His favorite part of his job is helping people understand how insurance policies work and alleviating their anxiety and fear over the process. In addition to his accomplished career in the insurance field, Aaron has been married for 17 years and shares 4 children with his wife. He spends his free time backpacking, traveling, and camping or simply relaxing and enjoying good food and drinks with his friends.
