This 8 hour class is approved by the State of North Carolina, and meets the mandatory initial continuing education requirement to start selling Long Term Care Partnership Insurance.
In this course, we'll discuss the history of long-term care, and recent changes that have affected these policies. We'll learn the process of building an LTC policy, and how they work when used. We'll also discuss the underwriting process and costs of LTC insurance, and alternatives for those who aren't well-suited to an LTC policy.
New applicants for licensure must hold the following licenses before they can sell in NC:
1. Accident & Health and/or Sickness
2. Medicare Supplement/Long Term Care
You MUST have your Medicare Supplement/LTC Insurance License for this course to qualify you to start producing the additional line.
