This 8-hour CE course is designed for Property & Casualty insurance producers in Rhode Island. We'll cover topics that generally apply to coverage for families and individuals.
In Property and Casualty Basics, we'll talk about concepts like underwriting, premiums, perils and loss. We'll review types of negligence, liability, and damages, before looking at policy structures and provisions.
For Dwelling Policies, we'll discuss the eligibility requirements for dwelling insurance, including characteristics, purposes, and exclusions of this coverage. We'll also cover endorsements and supplements for this type of policy.
Our Homeowner Policies class will talk about the structure and coverage of these policies. We'll discuss the policy forms used, and endorsements that can be used with a homeowner's policy.
The Personal Auto Policies class covers the fundamentals of auto policies, including general coverage, liability coverage, medical payments, and more. We'll talk about conditions, provisions, and endorsements on these policies as well.
In our Renter's and Condominium insurance class, we'll talk about these policies cover, and how to market them. You'll also learn to assess a client's coverage needs properly, and write a policy.
Our final class will cover the topic of Money Laundering; what it is, and how the insurance industry is used to accomplish it. We'll talk about some significant cases of money laundering, and discuss how you can spot and prevent money laundering as an insurance producer.
