This course provides insurance producers who need to renew their license with 16 hours of content on ethics, business related insurance, and specialty insurance.
Starting off, the course will talk about ethics and how an insurance producer can operate in an ethical manner.
The majority of the course deals with property and casualty insurance policies that are associated with businesses.
- The first portion of this segment explores commercial insurance such as commercial general liability, commercial property, commercial crime, inland marine, and equipment breakdown insurance.
- The second portion of this segment discusses businessowners insurance, who it is meant for, and the coverage that is actually provided by this kind of policy.
- The third portion of this segment looks at workers’ compensation insurance and its impact of businesses and their employees
The last segment of the course examines other forms of property and casualty insurance. The types of insurance addressed in this section include excess and umbrella insurance, errors and omissions insurance, flood insurance, watercraft and boatowners insurance, and difference in conditions insurance.
At the very end of the course, a student is required to complete a 85 question exam designed to promote a student’s understanding and retention of the instruction they received in the course.
